My BMI cut off for a healthy patient is 35 kg/m2. This is generally higher than most surgeons, meaning that I accept patients who have a higher weight. The reason I can do this is primarily related to the fact that I use monitored IV Sedation instead of General Anesthesia. Here is a video of a BBL with Tummy Tuck patient with a BMI at the upper limit of 35kg/m2. She did great! However, do note that if you have any conditions such as diabetes or heart disease, the BMI requirement will be stricter (lower number).
This type of butt lift is very popular because it requires only small incisions and can give patients a perkier rear. During a Brazilian butt lift, your cosmetic surgeon sculpts your body using liposuction. He or she removes stubborn, unwanted fats from other areas such as your thighs or abdomen, purifies them, and injects them into your buttocks. Adding volume can create a younger, lifted look for your buttocks, but it does not address excess, sagging skin. Patients who have lost a significant amount of weight may need to have a traditional butt lift or lower body lift, after which they may choose to undergo a fat transfer.

There’s definitely no denying, the B word has definitely been a talking point of late, not just in the media, but within my close circle of friends too. Would you? Wouldn’t you? Have you? Has she? I promise it’s not as ‘Real Housewives of Cheshire’ as it sounds... But whilst I'm only 28, the reality is that the constant stream of late nights, binge drinking (sorry Mum) and falling asleep with a full face of makeup on, are all starting to show their effects.

First, your doctor will put you under local or general anesthesia (usually general). Then, liposuction is performed on other areas of the body to create “donor fat” that will later be purified, then reinserted into the buttocks. The areas liposuctioned will also compliment the new shape of your booty by removing excess fat in the areas around it, so the butt will stand out more. These areas will typically include the lower back, love handles, abdomen, and thighs. Just this alone will make your butt look better since it will now stand out a lot more, having the other areas contoured with liposuction.
The Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is a type of butt augmentation procedure which results in youthful, prominent, perky buttocks and a more sensual body profile. As this procedure has gained in popularity, it is also being commonly referred to as a BBL with Lipo 360. The surgical procedure uses your own fat, so it is the most natural way to augment your buttocks. People of all ages and body types are having the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure.
Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Brent Moelleken notes in a RealSelf Q&A that “By nature, surgery causes soreness, and patients are usually restricted from full workouts for a period of time after surgery. This explains the weight gains often noticed immediately afterward.” But it’s important to get back into the habit as soon as you’re able. “Some patients gain a false sense of confidence after their liposuction procedure,” he says. “If anything, patients should plan on being more active and healthier about their eating habits after surgery than they were before.”
If you are a very thin patient, Dr. Rodriguez will likely have to 'find' fat from various areas of your body, as no one area will have a robust amount of fat. For example, for a patient who is 110 pounds, Dr. Rodriguez will liposuction from 4-6 different areas to get the fat. In these cases, for thin women, the price is typically the same as the 3 area liposuction, as the case takes the same amount of time as a three area liposuction case.
The cost of Botox is about $500–$600. Your price will depend on the number of areas treated, the injector’s experience, and your location. In different cities, the cost may be higher or lower, but you should expect to pay between $10 and $25 per unit. The number of units you’ll need will depend on how deep your wrinkles are and the size of the area treated.
Liposuction Cost and Liposuction Price Guide Cost of Liposuction is an important factor when considering liposuction surgery. However, the quality of liposuction is more important than the liposuction cost. If the ultimate goal of liposuction is to have a happy patient, then the surgeon’s expertise and experience are probably more important than finding the […]
In addition to the financial cost of breast implants, women need to be aware of the emotional cost when asking how much do breast implants cost. Not knowing the status of their implants can take a toll on woman’s peace of mind. Recent survey findings* showed over 98% of women reported feeling concerned about silent rupture, including many women who already had silicone gel implants. When rupture is detected, it can result in feelings of insecurity and anxiety, as they don’t know how long it has been going on or whether they could have found out sooner. Both the worry and reality of silent rupture take a real toll on a woman’s overall well being, yet too many women don’t have all the facts before making a decision about their choice of implant.

Post treatment I was a left a little red and blotchy, so I cancelled any meetings I had straight after. Although the redness soon faded I was left with a few tiny pin prick points. I am told that bruising is common, but it all depends on how sensitive your skin is. I was also left with a slight headache, almost like I’d been wearing a swim cap for a few days. This too didn’t last longer than a few hours, and wasn’t anything that two paracetamol couldn’t fix. If you do experience a headache for longer than 48 hours, or any other symptoms like nausea or visual disturbances (although rare) you are advised to contact your practitioner.
